The Rooster Hardtail MTB Frameset Deposit

Made-to-measure steel hardtail MTB frame with fork & stem

Every frameset we build begins with a conversation. You can book a free consultation at any time, and placing a deposit will secure your build spot in our order book.

Every bike is made to your unique measurements to ensure fit, so we require an up-to-date bike fit to ensure the accuracy of our geometry.

Once your bike fit has been submitted and then we've agreed the specifications of your frameset, your deposit must be made to order tubing, parts, and begin constructing your frame.

More than our other models, The Rooster is a bit of an open slate. 120mm Hardtail MTB built around 29 inch wheels is the go-to, but you fill in the details.

Tested over many years and in several different formats in harsh terrain, The Rooster has raced across Namibia several times in the Desert Dash with its earliest prototype winning the event ridden by Dan Craven in 2012.

We like a progressive geometry and 120mm suspension up front for a good all round bike on our local, wide open gravel roads - and a lot of bushveld farm singletrack. But it needs to work for your local forest/trails/rides - and your riding style. So after a bike fit, the ride needs to be discussed and dissected to get it just right.

Custom modifications can be added for bike packing.
